Saving the Worst for Last

Clearly in every story there are two sides.

One.....
On the brighter side I can now be myself again. I can now get back on being a partyphile, and by that I can party all night, smoke, drink, and again be what I want and go where I would want to be. Know what I guess ill be starting to act as one now. Hakuna Matata

Two.....
On the dullest side of the story. I hate being the one to leave someone behind, though I'm used of being left behind. My dull life just got worst, I just did dug my own grave. A whole and happy family that I always wanted, I can now say goodbye to it! I may waste, no my life is now a waste, a shit hole I should say. I may not see the one that I cherish and love so much, the only one that I would catch a bullet for. I may not see the sun in my life again. My brains might fry and burn. No music in my head, and music plays a vital part of my life.

bottom of this....
MY LIFE IS IN DEEP SHIT RIGHT NOW!

"I quote"

And this small and temporary trouble we suffer will bring us a tremendous and eternal glory, much greater than the trouble. For we fix our attention, not on things that are seen, but on things that are unseen. What can be seen lasts only for a time, but what cannot be seen lasts forever.

Yes I know that this suffering of us will have its end. What we have for each other is pure, others might not see it as it is, I don't blame them for they have their own will. And as they do have their own will as humans, we do have our own will. And so they say that "God's will" will prevail, I don't question that, but I do also know that God knows how to look at people more than humans can. He better knows whats wrong and right. He knows whats pretending and not. He knows where our happiness and hardships are. He knows how to consider things. Above all he is kind.

We might say that "God will make our future". Is that right? Yeah for most of the people. I don't blame faith, but we shape our own future. We, our actions from past will be our future. What we do today might not take effect right away. but surely it will play a vital part in our future. Just like learning to walk and run. Being to walk didn't matter too much when we where babies, it mattered a lot in our early stage of growing up. No offense to no faith, but it is literally faith that we must rely only to. We have to shape ourselves, plan, decide, and by to what ever our believes are we pray. Pray with believes to God, Jesus, Allah, Budha, regardless of religion. I do believe there is one God.

So I ask you. How would you shape your future? How did you get to where you are now? And how do you plan? If you ask me, I plan and decide for whatever I believe in not faith but, whatever I believe that would serve me right. As long as I am pure and honest, pure, and certain to what I want, and somehow people might agree with it. It is not that I'm hard headed but I won't rely my decisions to theirs. I am shaping my future not theirs. I am going to be me, and not them. "You have your own life, so I do too, I let you shape yours, let me shape mine,". What you are today was the result on how you acted on things on your past as I am too. What I am going to be in the future, will depend on what I am doing today.

Daily Hope‏

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:1-2

May 10, 2011

sorry..good bye..I love you

All I ever dreamed and wanted was just to have a complete and happy family. I can no longer see my self suffering from our relationship. I don't even know if its God's will or the will of the people around us that have been driving us all along. I know I have a responsibility to you. But with what happened for the past two days, I can only forgive but not forget.

The only reason why I went to your house yesterday was to check if your fine. No one told me anything, not even a clue. I was so worried, are you sick, or what if something bad happened on your way back here. Txted' you even called your phone but it's out of reach. Messaged your mom, she didn't answer. Excuses could be made, but not a simple notice from your side have been imparted to let me know that your fine.

Can't settled down myself, worrying about you, I rushed to your place last night.  On the bus, I thought of so many things, "bakit wla nag txt?" "nagkasakit kaya sya, kasi sige byahe" "what could be wrong". Things, those things made occupied, and forgot that I haven't eaten food since breakfast.

When I got to your house, as you said; your parents refrained your from txting and kept away your phone. I don't understand why, for whatever valid reason, I think I do also, have also have the right to know if your fine or not. If your still at your house or your on your way to Davao. There are just so many ways for "you" to let me know.

Making a fool out of me. I believe it ain't God's way of testing my love. For what ever reason to the things that happened for the past few days. I have all the respect to your family, but I can no longer be part of it anymore. I don't want to be away nor apart from you. I don't want the child growing up without a father. I don't want to run anymore. But that was until last nights events, and to what ever reason that "they" have did to you.

Didn't they even consider letting me know that you are still at your house. That they want me to come to your place. That they want to talk "madali lang naman ako kausap eh, bat kaylangan pa gawin un" and with it I lost all my respect. I was not a joke, being a fool. Hahahah I am willing to do all things, just don't make a fool out of me. For I am not afraid to whatever might happened to myself with regards to my actions. Why would I be afraid, I lived my life to the fullest. Pretty much did everything, tried everything, but not drugs. I hope you, they are now satisfied, clearly for what every happened it was not God's will, but surely it was the will of every people that had taken it into action and in their own hands, rather that communicate and talk.

There is nothing in this world that would make me fell afraid of dying. There is no one in this world can earn my trust and love no more, the trust and love that I have shared to you. I suffered so deep, even disregard my well being. Now, from now own, its going to be "Me, Myself and I"

I'm afraid that to what ever I have promised that I would do, would all be gone now. Cause from now on. I will not dream of a happy and complete family no more. I'll face reality. Life is short, I'll spend life to its fullest once again. Live the day after the other.

I love you... goodbye.. I am so sorry .. truly I'm sorry for this have to happened.

Parenting with the Lord's Prayer: God Protects

“… but deliver us from evil.” (Matthew 6:13)

There is no doubt that this world is becoming increasing unsafe for our children. It is less safe for my grandkids than it was for my kids. And it was less safe for my kids than it was for me when I was growing up. And it was less safe for me than it was for my parents when they were growing up. Remember when you could go outside and play without parental supervision? Ride your bike to the park by yourself?

Parenting with the Lord's Prayer: Forgiveness

PARENTING WITH THE LORD'S PRAYER: FORGIVENESS

"Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.” (Matthew 6:12)

As a loving parent, you want to protect your kids and do as much for them as you can. But no matter what you do, you can’t prevent your kids from being hurt by others.
Our kids will be hurt by others because the world is full of imperfect human beings. And, as much as we don’t like it, we won’t be able to prevent our kids from hurting other people because they’re imperfect human beings as well.
Jesus has the answer: “Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors” (Matthew 6:12 NIV).
Notice there are two sides to this. First, “forgive us our debts.” No one is perfect, all of us sin, all of us have gone down a wrong path, made wrong choices, and, as a result, we live with guilt. We’ve disappointed ourselves, and we know we’ve disappointed God.
So how do we deal with guilt? We need to teach our children that the way to deal with guilt is to recognize the forgiveness that God gives us through Jesus Christ. We can confess our sins and know that he is faithful to forgive us.
Then we need to deal with the fact that other people have hurt us, which can leave us with feelings of resentment. God’s answer to that is to replace it with his peace – and that comes from forgiving others, just as God forgave us.
We never want to see our children get hurt, but in those moments we can teach them to forgive others. We can help them understand that, if they hold onto that resentment, it will eat away at their lives like an acid. So teach them to ask for God’s peace and to offer forgiveness to the person who hurt them

Parenting with the Lord's Prayer: Don't Worry

Parenting with the Lord's Prayer: Don't Worry
“Give us today our daily bread.” (Matthew 6:11)
In today’s society, our children have a lot to worry about. So it’s our duty to teach them how God can replace their worry with his provision.
Now our normal reaction to worry is to find a way to control the situation. That’s just our nature. We figure if we can control everything, then we’ll never have to worry. But when we try that approach, the opposite happens. We find out that we can’t control everything, so we end up worrying.
The real way to deal with worry is to pray, “Give us today our daily bread.” Praying for our “daily bread” includes everything we worry about on a daily basis – our health, our finances, our schedule, our future, all the things we have to deal with. God says, “If you want less stress in your life, then you have to relax in me and let me give you your daily bread.”
It’s important that we teach our children that it’s daily bread, not weekly or monthly. We want God to give us everything we need for the next five years, just put it in a bank account so we can see it’s there and not worry. But God doesn’t do it that way. He gives us just what we need one day at a time because he wants us to live in a daily relationship of trust in him.
So we need to teach our children three basic truths about God’s provision:
  1. God can meet every need you’ll ever have because he’s God.
  2. God wants to meet our needs, not our greeds, because he’s a loving father.
  3. God will meet our needs as we trust in him moment-by-moment, day-by-day.

Parenting with the Lord's Prayer: Creating Stability

Parenting with the Lord's Prayer: Creating Stability
“Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10)
Study any psychological test and they’ll tell you the most insecure place for a kid to be is at the center of his or her family – controlling all the strings, getting their way in everything.
Kids instinctively know they do not belong in the center of the family; it creates great insecurity in their lives. Where kids find stability and security is in having boundaries. This is true from the moment they are born. We take little babies and wrap them up tightly. It’s called swaddling and being tightly bound gives the baby a feeling of security.
When you set boundaries with your children, they may push back, but they will also feel secure when those boundaries stand firm. They learn that you really do care about them. It’s when children don’t have those boundaries, and feel they can get away with anything, that they begin to question their parents’ love.
In the same way children need to know God’s purpose for their life is part of God’s larger plan. This creates boundaries of identity for them. It let’s them know that life is not all about them.
And in understanding God’s plan, they are able to find the answers to the basic questions of life: who am I? Why am I here? Where am I going? Where did I come from? Does my life have meaning? What is my purpose and how should I live it out? Why is this happening to me?
When you teach a child, “thy kingdom come, they will be done” you are teaching them that God has a master plan for history, but he also has a specific plan for their lives

Parenting with the Lord's Prayer: Honoring God

“…hallowed be your name …” Matthew 6:9

In biblical times, your name represented your character. And, as you study the Bible, you’ll see that God has many names, each representing a benefit of what God promises to do you in your life.

For instance, Jehovah Jireh means “God will provide everything I need.” Jehovah Shalom means “God will be my peace.” AndJehovah Tsidkenu means “God will be my righteousness.”
Over and over in scripture, every name for God represents a basic problem, threat, or emotional illness you have in your life that God can take care of. He is omniscient (all-knowing) and omnipotent (all-powerful) and is “worthy to receive all glory and honor”(Revelation 4:11 NIV).
But one of the most violated commandments in our society today is number four: “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain” (Exodus 20:7 NKJV). Our society constantly takes the name of the Lord in vain. We hear it so often it doesn’t even offend us anymore. But it should! It bothers God.
I grew up in a family where we were not allowed to use God’s name in vain, but we also we weren’t allowed to use the subtle derivatives that are so common – gosh, jeez. I bet you didn’t even realize those are derivatives of God and Jesus. But my parents were firm that we not take God’s name in vain and that we wouldn’t even get close to it because they knew how serious it was to disrespect God in that way.
If we teach our children that God is able to meet all of our needs, then shouldn’t we also be teaching them to honor and respect him? His name included? He not only commands it, he deserves it.

Subject: I Love You

Movie Title: "Subject: I Love You"

If you have an interest in IT and were around at the time, you'll surely remember it. So what can possibly be new to say about the Love Bug?

10% Luck | 20% Skill | 5% Pleasure | 15% Pain | 50% Concentrated Power of Will

"Be my 1 and only Valentine" is my most memorable original work of art so far. This was my entry for the 1st Graphic Design Contest of Davao Web Designs held last February 2011.

be my 1 and only valentine
With so little experience on my pocket. 10% luck, 20% skill, 5% pleasure, 15% pain and 50% concentrated power of will that resulted into 100% into remembering the work experience and thrill. Also I had to watch video tutorials and sample works, it did help, after 3 rough drafts I started working on it. Uploading my current workflow helped me, critiques and ideas flown in.  Day after day, slowly adding details, after 10days I finished my entry. I uploaded the finished piece and tagged it to my friends, my friends and their friends shared it also.

The criteria for Judging:

    • Creativity (1-10)
    • Originality (1-10)
    • Crispness of Design (1-10)
    • Valentine’s Day Feel (1-10)
Me at Davao Web Design HQ
February 14, 2011 was the day, the day of judging.  On that day all the entries were posted in their site (Davao Web Design). Looking at the entries, I never thought that my entry would have a chance of winning, but still it manage to grab a spot. Result were posted but in no particular order. Thrilled of winning something, besides from working in a print advertising company and having plenty of compliments for my work, this is the first contest that I joined, and the first original artwork that I have made from scratch that got to be judge.  So it did "be my 1 and only valentine" did not only made a mark on the people that I have shared it with, but also to my career as a Layout Artist.

Parenting with the Lord's Prayer: Overcoming Insecurity

“Our father in heaven …” Matthew 6:9

The number one problem kids have growing up is insecurity. Our society is trained to compete and compare instead of co-operate. So from the moment a child is born, he or she is taught to compare everything – appearance, achievement, affluence, even athletic ability (remember gym class?).
What we need to teach children from an early age, even before they get into school, is: God is my father, he loves me unconditionally, and he will never stop loving me.
If our children can understand and absorb that truth then, when they are confronted with someone who wants to diminish their self-worth, they can have the confidence to say, “If God likes me and I like me, but you don’t like me, what’s your problem?”
Unfortunately, most kids don’t grow up with that kind of confidence. They grow up under the cloud of comparison, constantly asking, “What does everybody else think of me?”
That’s why it is important to teach children that God is their ultimate, heavenly Father. And they need to understand that God is not like some earthly dads they may have encountered.
So what kind of Father is God? He’s …
  1. Caring. God is a caring Father who loves you and will never stop loving you. Some dads don’t care, but your heavenly Father cares about you all the time.
  1. Close. God is a close Father. Some dads are distant, but your heavenly Father has promised, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you” (Hebrews 13:5 NLT).
  1. Consistent. God is a consistent Father. Some dads are fickle and moody, but your heavenly Father is never changing.
  1. Capable. God is a capable Father. Some dads are like Homer Simpson; they can’t do anything. But your heavenly Father is capable, able to do all things.
When you teach your children that God is their Father and they choose to become his children, then the issue of insecurity is settled because they will understand that they are loved by the person who controls the universe. And that puts everything else, even dodge ball, into perspective.
